John Beck tweaks groin

John Beck watched the latter portion of Saturday’s practice after tweaking his groin while scrambling to avoid the pass rush on one play.

Beck said he didn’t think the injury was too serious but that coaches held him out of further action as a a precaution. Beck walked with a slight limp after practice, however, and described watching Rex Grossman and Kellen Clemens take first and second team reps as frustrating.

“I was still mad,” Beck said. “Those are reps that were designated for me and really could help me, especially with this limited training camp.”

One positive for Beck is the Redskins don’t have another practice today and have Sunday off.
