Ken Harvey will represent the Washington Redskins in New York City during Day 2 of the NFL Draft.
The retired four-time Pro Bowl linebacker will announce the team’s selections that evening. Washington currently does not have a second-round pick but owns the sixth pick of the third round (69th overall).
The team often sends former players as representatives in New York . Last year, Doug Williams announced the team’s second-round pick.
The team also will send video director Mike Bracken and physical therapist/assistant athletic trainer Elliott Jermyn to New York. Those two will be the on-site representatives who maintain communication with team decision-makers, including Coach Mike Shanahan and General Manager Bruce Allen, who spend the draft in Washington’s war room at Redskins Park.
