Landry, Orakpo are limited by injuries

Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said safety LaRon Landry (hamstring) and linebacker Brian Orakpo (ankle) were both limited in practice. No determination has been made on their availability for Sunday.

Shanahan said all other players were full practice participants.

Shanahan said the Cardinals’ defense is somewhat tricky to plan for because the team is switching to the 3-4 scheme this season. But Shanahan sees similarities to the Redskins’ own defense.

Trent Williams appeared to have some ups and downs Sunday but Shanahan said he was pleased with the strides the second-year pro has made and expects him to continue to improve.

Williams remained on the field after practice, working on speed and agility work with strength coach Ray Wright.
