Redskins add center/guard Donovan Raiola

The Washington Redskins have added a 90th player to their training camp roster, signing center/guard Donovan Raiola, according to multiple reports.

The Wisconsin product and younger brother of Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola, Donovan Raiola went undrafted out of Wisconsin in 2006 but was signed by the St. Louis Rams the same year.

The 6-foot-2, 293-pound Raiola spent time with six other NFL teams – starting one game – and played last season for the UFL’s Omaha Nighthawks.

The Redskins have centers Will Montgomery and Erik Cook on the roster as well.

Mike Jones covers the Washington Redskins for The Washington Post. When not writing about a Redskins development of some kind – which is rare – he can be found screaming and cheering at one of his kids’ softball, baseball, soccer or basketball games.
