Veteran fullback/tight end Mike Sellers played on Sunday after being on the inactive list for the Week 1 victory against the New York Giants. Tight end Chris Cooley was held without a catch for the first time since Week 9 of his rookie season. Cooley, who has played in 98 games since then, was targeted on only two plays Sunday against Arizona...Strong safety LaRon Landry missed a second straight game with a slowly-healing right hamstring. Reed Doughty again started in place of Landry and recorded six tackles and a fumble recovery. ... The Redskins won despite trailing the Cardinals 14-10 after three quarters. Washington last season was 1-8 when trailing opponents after three quarters. ... Punter Sav Rocca placed two punts inside the 20-yard line on Sunday. Rocca has placed six of his nine punts inside the 20 this season.

Mike Jones covers the Washington Redskins for The Washington Post. When not writing about a Redskins development of some kind – which is rare – he can be found screaming and cheering at one of his kids’ softball, baseball, soccer or basketball games.
