Redskins injury report: Oshiomogho Atogwe, Fred Davis sidelined

The Washington Redskins were without starting free safety Oshiomogho Atogwe and starting tight end Fred Davis for Wednesday’s practice, according to the team’s injury report.

Atogwe sat out with knee and toe injuries while a sprained ankle kept Davis – the team’s leading receiver – from participating. Also sidelined was newly added running back Tashard Choice, who is recovering from a hamstring injury and already has been ruled out for Sunday’s game.

Limited in practice were cornerback Phillip Buchanon (neck, knee), linebacker London Fletcher (hamstring) and tackle Trent Williams (ankle).

Williams, who has missed the last two games with a high ankle sprain , said he believes there is a 70 percent chance he will return to action Sunday.

Full participants for Washington, despite injuries, were safety Reed Doughty (chest), linebacker Rocky McIntosh (ankle), tight end Logan Paulsen (shoulder) and fullback/tight end Mike Sellers (back).

Mike Jones covers the Washington Redskins for The Washington Post. When not writing about a Redskins development of some kind – which is rare – he can be found screaming and cheering at one of his kids’ softball, baseball, soccer or basketball games.
