Second-year linebacker Ryan Kerrigan said he was feeling better Monday after missing the Washington Redskins’ practice Saturday because of heat-related symptoms.
“It was just a little heat illness,” Kerrigan said after the team’s morning walk-through at Redskins Park. “I’m feeling fine now and ready to go today.”
Sunday was a day off for all players. The Redskins are scheduled to resume practicing Monday afternoon.
Kerrigan also sat out Thursday’s practice.
“I hate missing practice,” he said. “But if there’s a time for it to happen, it’s right now before we’re playing games.”
