Rocky McIntosh re-signs with Redskins

The Washington Redskins have re-signed yet another one of their own free agents, agreeing to terms with inside linebacker Rocky McIntosh, according to a person familiar with the situation.

McIntosh, who agreed to a one-year deal, started at inside linebacker next to London Fletcher last season. He recorded 110 tackles and two sacks.

He is expected to draw competition from second-year pro Perry Riley for the starting job.

Meanwhile, free agent inside linebacker Lofa Tatupu was believed to have arrived in D.C. Wednesday evening, but it isn’t immediately clear how McIntosh’s re-signing impacts the Redskins’ pursuit of Tatupu - a seventh-year pro, who was cut this weekend by Seattle.

Washington on Wednesday also re-signed safety Reed Doughty and defensive lineman Kedric Golston.
