The Washington Redskins lost a right tackle candidate when free agent Eric Winston agreed to a contract Saturday with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs announced the deal but did not reveal its terms.
Winston had been released by the Houston Texans.
There was speculation that the Redskins, who are looking to fortify their offensive line in free agency, would be involved in the bidding for Winston. But it’s not clear if they were a serious contender to sign him.
