Tennessee Titans draft former Wilde Lake LB Zach Brown in second round

Linebacker Zach Brown, who starred at Wilde Lake High, was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the NFL draft Friday night.

Brown, who spent a prep year at Hargrave Military Academy before playing at North Carolina, was the 52nd overall pick.

Brown, who is 6 feet and 230 pounds, was a semifinalist for the Butkus Award, given to the nation’s top collegiate linebacker, this past season after he led the Tar Heels with 105 tackles. He also had 13 1/2 tackles for losses, 5 1/2 sacks, three interceptions and three forced fumbles.
