Three Redskins unable to practice

The Washington Redskins were without starting free safety Oshiomogho Atogwe and starting right tackle Jammal Brown for a second straight day of practice, according to the team’s injury report.

Atogwe remains hobbled by toe and knee injuries, while Brown is dealing with a groin injury suffered in Sunday’s game. Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan said it was unlikely Brown would be available for Sunday’s game at Miami, though he’s not yet ready to rule him our.

Backup linebacker Keyaron Fox (skin and knee infection) also did not practice for a second day.

Linebacker Markus White (illness), tight end Fred Davis (ankle), safety Reed Doughty (chest), defensive end Kedric Golston (elbow), Trent Williams (ankle) were all able to fully participate in Thursday’s practice.

The Dolphins’ injury situation looks much better. All of the Dolphins players were able to practice Thursday, including cornerback Nolan Carroll (hamstring), cornerback Vontae Davis (hamstring) and receiver Edmond Gates (groin).
