Torain, Cooley, Kelly and Banks watch practice

Running back Ryan Torain (broken hand), tight end Chris Cooley (knee) and receivers Malcolm Kelly (foot) and Brandon Banks (knee) all were observers during the morning practice session. Kelly spent time riding a stationary bike.

There is no sign of tackle Clint Oldenberg. The third-year Colorado State product, who spent all of last season on IR, had taken all the first-team snaps at right tackle while keeping the spot warm for Jammal Brown, who joined practice on Thursday. No word on if Oldenberg was cut or had an injury or excused absence.

Rookie linebacker Ryan Kerrigan (knee) went through the walk-through with the second-team defense, and also went through positional drills.
