Washington Redskins outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan was credited with a sack after a review of Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams. Kerrigan now has two sacks on the season.
Lineman Stephen Bowen originally received credit for the sack on quarterback Sam Bradford on first-and-10 from the St. Louis 20-yard line with 5:27 left in the third quarter.
But after reviewing the game, the NFL’s official stat keepers made a correction and gave the full sack to Kerrigan.
Kerrigan also has five tackles this season.
Last season, a half-sack against Dallas awarded to Kerrigan was later credited to defensive end Adam Carriker.
Kerrigan recorded 7.5 sacks as a rookie last season, second on the team behind Brian Orakpo’s nine.
