Meriweather has not played all season because of a knee injury. He practiced this week, and the Redskins hope he plays after their bye week.
Coach Mike Shanahan called it a positive sign that Meriweather had a good week of practice.
Garcon is to test his ailing foot after the bye.
Linebacker Perry Riley is listed as questionable because of a hamstring injury. Shanahan said it was not clear to him whether Riley will be able to play Sunday.
