Kicker Kai Forbath remained perfect on the season, making his ninth field goal attempt on Sunday.

Forbath made a 30-yard field goal at the end of the second quarter to give his team a 17-3 lead at halftime.

The 9-for-9 start marks a franchise best, surpassing the 8-for-8 start that Graham Gano had to his career at the tail end of the 2009 season and early portion of the 2010 campaign.

Signed after Billy Cundiff missed five field goals in the first five games of the season, Forbath made one field goal (a season-long 50-yarder) in his debut against Minnesota. He then made three field goals the following week against New York, then two in each of his next two games leading up to Sunday’s meeting against Philadelphia.
