Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon had a catch taken away from his total for the Redskins’ game against the Dallas Cowboys. The receiver’s official stat line now reads four catches and one rushing attempt.

Garcon recorded what was originally deemed a seven-yard catch at the end of the first quarter. He concluded the game with five catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. But league statisticians, in their review of the game, changed the catch to a lateral and seven-yard rushing attempt.

Garcon’s revised statistics for the Dallas game read four catches for 86 yards, and one carry for seven yards.

In another change, the Cowboys lost a sack of quarterback Robert Griffin III. After the game, the Cowboys had four sacks, but statisticians changed that total to three sacks. The fourth sack was ruled a rush for no gain..
