Redskins punter Sav Rocca has been fined $7,875 for a facemask tackle made while in punt coverage against the Dallas Cowboys.

With 6:49 left in the game, Rocca punted the ball 43 yards from the Washington 27-yard line. Dallas receiver Dwayne Harris returned the punt 39 yards before Rocca  — as the last line of defense — tackled him, grabbing his facemask and jersey to bring him down.

A 15-yard penalty was assessed, and the ball was place at the Washington 16-yard line. The Cowboys scored three plays later and then succeeded on a two-point conversion to pull within 21-18 with 5:55 left in the game.
