The Washington Redskins used a seven-game winning streak last season to turn a 3-6 record into a 10-6 mark and a division title.
Cornerback DeAngelo Hall says more consistency is needed this season.
“I don’t even think a lot of people are picking us to even be competitive, with RG being hurt and a lot of other question marks around us,” Hall said Wednesday. “So we’re just gonna take it one game at a time. We know we can go out there and beat any team in the National Football League. We’ve just got to be consistent in doing it. That’s what we’ve been trying to harp on to a lot of our guys on this team.
“We know we can beat Baltimore, who won the Super Bowl. We can beat all these teams in the playoffs. We were in the playoffs as well. But we’ve got to do it consistently. We’ve got to go out and do it week in and week out, not just on the back half of the season or certain stretches throughout the season. We’ve got to go out there and do it through the course of 16 games and into the playoffs.”
