Redskins place kicker Kai Forbath, tight end Jordan Reed and linebacker Brandon Jenkins missed a second straight day of practice with injuries. Meanwhile, tight end Fred Davis took part on a limited basis.
Forbath has missed the last two games with a groin injury. Reed suffered a bruised right quadriceps in Sunday’s game, and Jenkins sprained his right ankle in the same matchup.
Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said that Forbath is expected to see if he can kick either Friday or Saturday. “It’s up to him,” Shanahan said. John Potter remains on the roster in case Forbath is unable to kick on Sunday at Oakland.
Davis, who missed last Sunday’s game with a sprained ankle, was limited in practice both Wednesday and Thursday. He said after Thursday’s practice that his ankle – which he injured on the final play of last Friday’s practice – remains sore.
Practicing fully despite being listed with injuries were linebacker Ryan Kerrigan (knee), safety Brandon Meriweather (shoulder) and wide receiver Leonard Hankerson (hamstring).
