Washington Redskins linebacker Perry Riley was fined $15,750 by the NFL for a roughing-the-passer penalty during last Sunday night’s loss at Dallas, a person familiar with the situation said Friday.

Riley was penalized during the game for his hit on Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

Cowboys safety Barry Church was not fined, the person with knowledge of the situation said. Church received two personal fouls during the game for hits on Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III near the sideline.
