Wide receiver Leonard Hankerson said he expects to be in the Washington Redskins’ lineup Sunday at Denver despite the foot injury that he suffered this week.

Asked whether he has concerns about playing this weekend, Hankerson said: “I don’t. I feel pretty good. I’ve just got to keep on doing treatment in there with the [trainers] and keep on getting it better.”

Hankerson was listed as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice.

“I did what I could,” he said. “I went out there, did a little, whatever I was capable of.”

Hankerson said he injured his right foot at his home Monday.

“It happens,” he said. “I was just playing around with the kids or whatever. Things happen…. Just racing up and down the stairs and I end up stomping the foot.”

Safety Reed Doughty also was listed as being a limited participant in Thursday’s practice. He suffered a concussion during last Sunday’s triumph over the Chicago Bears at FedEx Field. Defensive end Stephen Bowen, who has said he intends to try to play with a knee injury, was limited, along with nose tackle Chris Neild (calf). Center Will Montgomery (knee) and tight ends Logan Paulsen (knee) and Jordan Reed (hip) were listed as practicing fully Thursday.
