Doughty, three others questionable for Redskins vs. Broncos

Safety Reed Doughty is questionable for Sunday’s game at Denver as he remains under observation for lingering concussion symptoms, Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan said.

Doughty took part in positional drills Wednesday and Thursday but didn’t practice at all Friday, Shanahan said. Doughty hasn’t had any setbacks, according to the coach, and if he passes the final concussion tests Saturday, he will play Sunday.

Doughty suffered the concussion while getting hit during an onside kick late in last week’s game.

Also questionable for the Redskins are defensive Stephen Bowen, who has practiced in a limited capacity despite having torn the PCL in his right knee last Sunday, nose tackle Chris Neild, who has a calf injury, and wide receiver Leonard Hankerson, who is nursing a foot injury.

Tight ends Jordan Reed (hip) and Logan Paulsen (knee) are expected to play despite injuries.
