Safety Reed Doughty won’t play in the Washington Redskins‘ game Sunday at Denver.

The Redskins announced Saturday that Doughty did not make the trip with the team and he is now listed as out on the official injury report.

Doughty suffered a concussion during last Sunday’s win over the Chicago Bears at FedEx Field. The Redskins had listed him as questionable on the injury report Friday, when he did not participate in practice. He practiced on a limited basis Wednesday and Thursday.

The Redskins also will play without fellow safety Brandon Meriweather, who is serving a suspension imposed by the league after he was penalized twice for illegal hits against the Bears.
