Place kicker Kai Forbath had a simple explanation Tuesday for the two blocked field goal attempts he had during the Washington Redskinsâ overtime victory Sunday over the San Diego Chargers at FedEx Field.
âJust hit it a bit low,â Forbath said.
Forbath had field goal tries of 25 and 59 yards blocked by the Chargers. He did connect on a 47-yard field goal later in the game. Heâs 5 for 9 on field goal attempts this season after going 17 for 18 last season.
âIt just happens sometimes,â Forbath said. âI mean, guys get kicks blocked all the time. It just happens. It wasnât like something that Iâm worried about thatâs gonna continue to happen. So we had a good day today and just gonna get it corrected.â
