Mike Shanahan and Robert Griffin III both shot down the NFL Network report that the quarterback had requested that the team not show his poor plays during film review sessions, and now Griffin’s college coach and a teammate have done the same.

According to David Smoak of Waco’s ESPN 1660 AM, both Art Briles and Nick Florence, another former Baylor quarterback, both said that all of Griffin’s plays were shown during film study sessions during his college career.

The report on Sunday morning said that Griffin had made the request of the Redskins because his coaches at Baylor never showed his negative plays.

Shanahan called the report, “completely false,” when reached on Sunday, and then on Monday, Griffin said the same thing.

Briles told Smoak, who covers Baylor, “We watched all plays.”

Florence – Griffin’s backup at Baylor – told Smoak, “Are you kidding me, we watched all film, Griff, me, all the QB’s at Baylor.”
