Safety Reed Doughty left Sunday night’s game after suffering a concussion, and his status for the immediate future remains uncertain.

It’s the second concussion this season for Doughty, an eight-year veteran, who also serves as special teams captain for the Redskins.

It wasn’t immediately clear which play Doughty suffered the concussion on. But he had two tackles on defense and two impressive stops on special teams.

Doughty suffered his first concussion in Week 7 against Chicago, and he missed the following game at Denver. Doughty said at the time that he took a cautious approach in his return because of the concerns that the effects of a second concussion in a short amount of time become more severe.

Doughty will be monitored throughout the week and a determination on his availability for next week, or any of the three following games will not be made until Friday at the very earliest.

Meanwhile, cornerback DeAngelo Hall left the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game after suffering a hip injury.

Inside linebacker London Fletcher sprained an ankle on Washington’s last defensive stand of the game. Fletcher said after the game that he expected some swelling and soreness, but that he wouldn’t likely know how serious the sprain was until the morning.
