Poll: Which teams are going to meet in the Super Bowl?

The Post Sports Live gang tackled this question, but it’s a good one to open up to the floor as well. Because right now Denver vs. Seattle is probably the safe pick, but No. 1 seeds don’t face off in the Super Bowl all that often. The most recent occurrences are Saints vs. Colts in 2009 and the Cowboys and Bills in 1993.

In the AFC, the top-seeded Broncos (13-3) are followed by the No. 2 seed New England Patriots (12-4) and the winners in this weekend’s games. The Kansas City Chiefs (11-5) visit the AFC South champion Indianapolis Colts (11-5) in Saturday’s opening game (4:35 p.m. on NBC). On Sunday, the San Diego Chargers (9-7) visit the Cincinnati Bengals (11-5) at 1:05 on CBS.

In the NFC, the No. 1-seeded Seahawks (13-3) and No. 2 Carolina Panthers (12-4) sit this weekend out, while the New Orleans Saints (11-5) visit the Philadelphia Eagles (10-6) at 8:10 on Saturday night (NBC). At 4:40 on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers (8-7-1) host the San Francisco 49ers (12-4).

The NFC field, especially with QB Aaron Rodgers back for the Packers, seems more tightly packed and without an easy out. The road teams have 11 and 12 wins, and the 49ers are actually favored. The AFC seems like Denver’s to lose, but you might disagree.
