High-salaried players who could join the free agent pool

Here’s The Insider’s daily sampling of what folks outside The Post are writing about the team:

●  With so much talk of late about the players the Redskins might re-sign or cut for salary-cap savings, here’s a list of players around the league who might become available because their contracts are too large. The free-agent pool always starts with the players whose contracts are up, but these players — established, and set to make a lot of money with their current teams in the coming years — could join the pool as well.

The only Washington player on the list is Adam Carriker, but there are plenty of Giants, Eagles, Cowboys and other players you’ve heard of who could possibly come free. Ex-Redskins Jason Campbell, Champ Bailey and Carlos Rogers, and almost-Redskin Eddie Royal, are on the list.

●  Both ESPN and CSN are doing position-by-position overviews. John Keim looks at the linebackers, since most of them are soon to be free agents. Both Keim and CSN’s Rich Tandler looked at the running backs.

●  A Redskins player ranks high on Rotoworld’s list of players most likely to benefit from coaching changes.

●  Another day, another designer reimagines NFL logos. This time, Ryan K. Fishman looks at NFL teams mixed with corporate logos.
