The NFL announced on Wednesday that the Pro Bowl following the 2014 season will take place at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., one week before the Super Bowl will take place at the same location.

The Pro Bowl will then return to Hawaii the following year. The Pro Bowl following the 2016 season also will take place at Aloha Stadium.

The upcoming Pro Bowl has been slated for Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015. It will air live on ESPN at 8 p.m.

The Super Bowl has been slated for Feb. 1. This marks only the third time that the Pro Bowl will take place in the same city as the Super Bowl. The Los Angeles Coliseum hosted the first Super Bowl on Jan. 15, 1967, and the Pro Bowl the following week. Then, in 2010, the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl both took place in South Florida.
