The Redskins announced that the time and date for their preseason opener versus New England has been determined.

Washington will host the Patriots at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 7, at FedEx Field.

The league released the opponents and locations for the preseason games last week, but times and dates for all the games have yet to be finalized.

The Redskins also host the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football the following week (Aug. 18).

The team closes out the preseason with back-to-back road games — at Baltimore and at Tampa Bay. Those dates and times have yet to be released.
