Redskins release training camp schedule

The Redskins will kick off training camp on Thursday, July 24, and conclude their time in Richmond on Monday, Aug. 11.

The team on Friday released their full training camp schedule, and announced that the slate features 15 practice sessions and 12 walk-through sessions.

Fan appreciation day will take place on Saturday, Aug. 2 at noon. All of the other practice sessions are slated to begin at 8:35 a.m., and the walk-throughs will begin at 4:10 p.m.

The Redskins’ joint practice sessions with the New England Patriots will take place Monday, Aug. 4, through Wednesday, Aug. 6. The Tuesday and Wednesday of that week don’t feature a walk-through session.

The Redskins play the Patriots on Thursday, Aug. 7, at FedEx Field.

Fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs as no seating is provided. The Redskins’ training camp facility does feature handicap access and viewing areas.

Wednesday, July 30: 8:35 a.m. practice; 4:10 p.m. walk-through

Thursday, July 31: 8:35 a.m. practice; 4:10 p.m. walk-through

Friday, Aug. 1: 8:35 a.m. practice; 4:10 p.m. walk-through

Saturday, Aug. 2: Noon, Fan Appreciation Day
