The Washington Post

And now, a bit of GOG blog housekeeping

As you may have noticed, there have been lots of changes around the Washington Post Web site in the last few days; the Going Out Guide is no exception. Pages have been redesigned, links have changed, RSS feeds have been re-directed and some things just aren’t where you’re accustomed to finding them.

This affects us (and you) in a couple of ways:

1) The Going Out Guide’s RSS feed has a new address! Go ahead and replace the old one in your feed reader with this:

2) Our Thursday Got Plans? chats have a new home on the main site. The full live Q&A schedule can now be found in this handy directory. To access this week’s chat, you can also follow this link.

We appreciate your patience. If you experience any issues or have questions or comments, send a note to and we’ll try to get to the bottom of it.

Alex Baldinger is editor of the Going Out Guide blog, which covers food, drink, arts, music, events and other curiosities in the D.C. area. He is forever in search of a great sandwich.
