ArtVentures on H tonight

Check out the “FlexibleLove” exhibit at Industry Gallery tonight and get discounts on dinner at restaurants along H Street NE. (Photo by Ricky Carioti/The Washington Post)
Seeing the expanding and contracting furniture made from recycled materials at Industry Gallery is enough of a reason to head to H Street NE, but the Atlas District galleries are adding an incentive to stop by tonight for ArtVentures on H. From 5:30 to 8 p.m., pay a visit to the 16 participating neighborhood establishments and receive a stamp in your ArtVentures passport. Each stamp translates to a 2 percent discount at nearby restaurants, which means you can check out Jeremy Kost’s Polaroids at Conner Contemporary and Pablo Caviedes’s painting at Studio H and save on dinner at newcomer destinations, including Toki Underground and Queen Vic, or at such old favorites as Argonaut and Sticky Rice. This installment of ArtVentures features the addition of Little Miss Whiskey’s garage sale. The sale kicks off at 5 p.m. and promises boozy cupcakes, plus quirky finds courtesy of Whiskey’s owner Mark Thorp.
