The new year has arrived, and with it, a few questions: Is it going to be this cold until spring? How long until those resolutions fly out the window? And, now that you’re starting to bounce back from Monday night’s partying, what’s next?

Lucky for you, there’s a ton of events coming up in the next few months that you can look forward to. We’ve compiled a list of the best events in January, February and March for your planning pleasure. A few standouts include:

- The opening of two new doughnut outposts in Metro Center and Dupont Circle.

- The D.C. premiere of “Zero Dark Thirty.”

- Inauguration.

- Avicii at D.C. Armory.

- The Kennedy Center’s awesome-sounding, month-long Nordic Cool festival.

Check out the full list here. And let us know what we left out in the comments.
