Cause offers “RG3 Dollar” drinks for Sunday’s Redskins playoff game

If finding cheap, high-quality beer is your primary concern when deciding where to watch Sunday’s Redskins-Seahawks playoff game, here’s an option.

Cause will continue to offer the same “RG3 Dollar” specials it debuted for last Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. That includes $3 pints of beer like Flying Dog’s Oyster Stout and Fat Tire (some of the beers offered this week could change) along with team-specific cocktails. For the Redskins, that means $3 gin rickeys, known temporarily as a Burgundy Gold. “We now have to see what kind of drink we can come up with for Seahawks fans,” Cause’s Nicholas Vilelle said.

If you’re unfamiliar with Cause, the newly-opened gastropub on Ninth Street NW promises to donate all of its profits to charitable causes.
