Cold and tired? Warm your bones beside the fire at these D.C. area bars and restaurants

Light snow is in the weekend forecast and temperatures are set to dip below freezing tonight. It’s been a mild winter so far, but it’s time to get reacquainted with our favorite restaurants and bars with fireplaces. (You heartier souls can check out the list of bars with outdoor firepits.)

If you’re looking to warm up without open flames, Lavanya recommends warming cocktails, such as the Black Fleece at Firefly and hot spiced apple cider at the Willard’s Round Robin.
