Deal-seeking diners, get your reservation fingers ready: The winter edition of D.C. Restaurant Week has been announced for Jan. 9-15, 2012. More than 200 restaurants will offer three-course lunches for $20.12 and dinners for $35.12.

Go here for a complete list of particpating restaurants, and keep your eyes on this spot for more information in the weeks ahead.

Restaurant Week has become a divisive issue among foodies. Some argue it’s a great excuse to try new and unfamiliar restaurants; others believe you get what you pay for, and that many restaurants offer cut-rate menus and service commensurate with the discounts.

What do you think? Are you already feverishly trying to land a reservation at Graffiato, or would you rather avoid the hype and dine on a normal service evening?
