Voisin/The Washington Post)The worst of the recent heat wave may have passed, but with temperatures still hovering around 90, ice cream (and other frozen delights) may continue to dominate many people’s food pyramids.
To satisfy increased demand, LivingSocial is partnering with Dolci Gelati to launch a one-week-only pop-up gelateria at 918 F St. NW. The storefront will be open today through Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. A rotating array of flavors includes raspberry lemonade and chocolate mint, although if you have any particular favorites — Honey Mascarpone Fig, perchance — you can put in your requests on Twitter (#918FST) or Dolci’s Facebook page. The temporary shop marks the start of LivingSocial’s Frozen Treat Month, so stay tuned for other delectable ways to cool down.
