Earl’s Sandwich opens new location in Ballston tomorrow

Co-owner Stephen Dugan at the original Earl's. (By Michael Temchine/For the Washington Post)
Courthouse sandwich favorite (and member of our highly exclusive Best Sandwich Shops list) Earl’s will open its second location at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the recently closed BRGR Shack space, as Arlington Now reported yesterday. The menu, as well as the prices, will be identical to that at the original location. There will be a few noteworthy differences though: “We have our ABC license and will be serving beer,” Dugan told me last month, adding that although they will only be open for lunch initially, he planned to be serving during evening hours within the month. The new Earl’s will be located at 4215 Fairfax Dr., across the street from the Ballston Metro station.
