Going Out Guide Weekend Concerts return to Carter Barron in June

We are happy to announce the return of Going Out Guide Weekend Concerts, our annual series of free shows at Carter Barron Amphitheatre. It will be another summer of great music. Here’s this year’s schedule:

Friday, June 17: Jazz & Soul Night , with Maimouna Youssef & Friends, Antone “Chooky” Caldwell and Jess Righthand Quintet

Friday, June 24: Reggae Night , with Archives (f. Lenny Kurlou), Passion Reggae Band and Carl Malcolm & Positive Vibrations Band

Friday, July 15: Latin Night , with Orquestra La Leyenda, Verny Varela and His Orchestra and Rudy Gonzalez y Su Locura

Friday, July 22: Neo Soul Beat Night , with Carolyn Malachi, Navasha Daya and Ayanna Gregory

All shows start are free and start at 7:30 p.m. The free tickets (maximum four free tickets per adult) are distributed the day of performance at The Washington Post, 1150 15th St. NW, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and at the Carter Barron box office, 16th Street and Colorado Avenue NW, beginning at noon.
