Haiku of the day

Daffodils soon will be making way for more spring blooms. (Jahi Chikwendiu/The Washington Post)
Today’s spring haiku is again courtesy of our haiku contest winner, Stephen McClurg, who teaches high school English in Alabama. He titled it: “Teaching Plato After Spring Break.”

He wrote, “In wonder
starts philosophy.” Comments?
“Can we go outside?”
