We usually focus on music here at Hot Tickets, but this week we’re going to tell you about the chance to see European football on the field where the Redskins attempt to play the American version (sorry, we couldn’t resist). Two of the UEFA Champions League’s most famous teams, Manchester United and FC Barcelona, are squaring off in a friendly match at FedEx Field, on July 30. Tickets go on sale April 21 at 9 a.m. through Ticketmaster, and cost $40 to as much as $550 for the most expensive VIP package. As our colleague Steven Goff over at Soccer Insider explains, Redskins season ticket holders get first dibs, so supplies will be limited.

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. through Ticketfly for the following shows at the 9:30 Club:
"Soundbites" featuring Trouble Funk, the Pietasters, Ra Ra Rasputin, DJ lil'e and food tastings from area restaurants May 22 ($40, a benefit for D.C. Central Kitchen).

Matt and Kim, the Thermals and Autobot June 28 ($22).
