Hot Tickets: Puscifer, Band of Horses

At last year’s Puscifer show at the Lincoln Theater, frontman Maynard James Keenan poured himself a glass of wine and sat as the group performed the second song of the set without him. (Kyle Gustafson for The Washington Post)
Fresh from the What the... Err, Dickens ... Department, we have Puscifer, the bizarro experimental project from Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan, playing at Lisner Auditorium on Nov. 26. Even though last year Puscifer played the Lincoln Theatre — a stately venue in its own right — something about that band taking the stage at a traditional theater, not a rock venue, feels strange, and that’s probably the point.
