Hot Tickets: The Beach Boys, the Howard Theatre

We already told you about the re-opening of the Howard Theatre, the former centerpiece of Washington’s Black Broadway that will reopen in April with a star-studded lineup featuring Bad Brains, the Roots and Wale. See the full list of shows after the jump.

This summer, another classic will undergo a bit of a restoration, as surf-pop giants the Beach Boys will hit the road to mark the 50th anniversary of the band, the first time the remaining original members have toured extensively together in years. The quintessential summer band will be stopping at Merriweather Post Pavilion on June 15, just in time for prime lawn weather. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketfly and cost $45-$125.
