‘Hunger Games’ lives to see yet another week at No. 1

You may be tired of hearing it, but after nearly a month in theaters, “The Hunger Games” is maintaining its hold on the No. 1 slot at the weekend box office, earning an additional $21.5 million this weekend. It appears that not even Larry, Moe and Curly could topple the ad­ven­ture action film’s success, though “The Three Stooges” did come in a close second, earning $17.1 million for the weekend.

Other movies in the top 10 this week include horror flick “The Cabin in the Woods” and “Titanic 3D.” Here’s the full list of the weekend’s box office winners:

1. “The Hunger Games,” $21.5 million

2. “The Three Stooges,” $17.1 million

3. “The Cabin in the Woods,” $14.8 million

4. “Titanic 3D,” $11.6 million

5. “American Reunion,” $10.6 million

6. “Mirror Mirror,” $7 million

7. “Wrath of the Titans,” $6.9 million

8. “21 Jump Street,” $6.8 million

9. “Lockout,” $6.2 million

10. “Dr. Seuss’ the Lorax,” $3 million
