Pho U Vietnamese pop-up is back on at Montserrat House

Montserrat House is finally set to host its three-night pop-up Vietnamese restaurant, Pho U. It opens Thursday at 7 p.m. and should stay open late-night — assuming the food lasts. (Evy Mages for The Washington Post)
Pho U, a pop-up Vietnamese restaurant planned for Eric and Ian Hilton’s concert and art space Montserrat House, is back on, and kicks off Thursday.

This week, organizers announced that the event initally scheduled for February (but scrapped after the death of a chef slated to take part in the event) would take place this Thursday through Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m. each night and running till late (or more likely, till the grub runs out). Marvin’s executive chef, James Claudio, and his sous-chef, Brendan L’Etoile, will be doing the cooking.

On Thursday, DJ Brian Liu of the Yellow Fever DJ collective spins, but it might get more interesting Friday and Saturday, when the space hosts karaoke with a live band.

Check out the whole Pho U menu below.
