It’s rainy and yucky right now, but according to the Capital Weather Gang, Saturday and Sunday are shaping up to be beautiful days. So here’s our list of the best events this weekend for you to enjoy.

Speaking of bad weather, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial dedication that was postponed due to Hurricane Irene is happening this weekend. President Obama and members of the King family are scheduled to appear at the ceremony.

Two great festivals — one for families and one for cinephiles — kick off over the weekend. Kids Euro Festival offers over a month of performances and entertainment from 27 European countries. Noir City DC brings a lineup of classic film noir flicks featuring Hollywood stars from a bygone era, Humphrey Bogart and Robert Mitchum.
