Every week, we tell you the best things to do this weekend.

Have you always wanted to learn more about wine? Wine Riot is a wine tasting geared toward beginners, and it comes with its own iPhone app so you can remember which ones you liked. Better yet, the wines are paired with delicious foods such as Luke's Lobster, Cabot cheese and Taza Chocolate.

You can see more than a dozen dance companies from around the world performing everything from ballet to contemporary West African dance in the VelocityDC Dance Festival.

One road and bike race this weekend uses a course you’ll never be able to run on again. It’s the Intercounty Connector’s second segment, which has yet to open to car traffic. Bring the family to participate in the 10-mile bike ride or 5K walk/run.
