Restaurant Week: Share your food photos with #dishdc

It’s Restaurant Week and our cell phones are close at hand as we scramble to make reservations to some (read: as many as we can) of the more than 200 local restaurnats offering price-fixed fare.

But we’re also armed with our cell phones for a different reason. Some of those dishes are too pretty to just eat, and we've been known to snap a photo (or two) before we even think about touching fork to plate.

This Restaurant Week, we want to see what you’re eating on the culinary circuit. Join us in sharing photos of your dining adventures using a cool (and free) app called Instagram.

When it comes to food photos, it can turn your culinary snapshots into genuine works of art. We think it’s a fun and visual way to offer a look into D.C. Restaurant Week and we hope you’ll participate.

As you take your photos, tag them using #DishDC in the caption of the photo and include the name of the restaurant. We’ll pick some of the best shots to appear below. Remember that by using that hash tag, you’re acknowledging that you took the photo and we have permission to use it on our Web site and in print.
