Rickey Month cocktail competition finalists announced

Thirty-five mixologists whipped up original Rickeys in a quest to be crowned the best, which will happen at a Rickey celebration at Jack Rose on August 5. (If you’ve sampled five Rickeys at participating bars, you get free admission to the party and a free Rickey. Just pick up a passport and get it stamped every time you buy a different cocktail.)

With the finals on the horizon, the D.C. Craft Bartender Guild has announced the finalists who will prepare their Rickeys for judges on the 5th. The list is after the jump, and remember that you can sample any of these Rickeys until August 1, and all will be available at the party for $5 each — though trying to taste them all in an afternoon may be pushing it.
